We currently have a vacancy for a  Manager Facilities to join the team on a fulltime ongoing contract.  The role is responsible for looking after all of the services that help a business do its work by ensuring that the facilities are able to be delivered in the most effective way.

About the role

This position will hold a range of responsibilities, including:

• Overseeing and agreeing contracts and providers for services including security, parking, cleaning, catering, technology and etc
• Ensuring that basic facilities, such as water and electricity, air conditioner, are well-maintained
• Allocating and managing space in the building
• Coordinating and executing timely maintenance of the building with external stakeholders
• Ensuring that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards
• Advising businesses on increasing energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Maintaining stores to standards, including stocking and cleaning.
• Supervising multi-disciplinary teams of staff including cleaning, maintenance, and security
• Maintaining an overall management style that follows company best practices.
• Managing budgets and ensuring cost-effectiveness
• Optimizing profits by controlling costs.

About you

To be successful in this role you will need to have the following:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent – Facilities Management discipline desirable.
• 5 years-experience in a similar role.
• Fluency in English with good command of the language.
• Strong business sense.
• Communication and influencing skills, in person and in writing
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Sound decision-making skills
• Ability to lead and manage teams and projects

• Excellent customer service skills
• Organisational, time management, prioritization skills
• Ability to handle a complex, varied workload
