We currently have the opportunity for an Integrations Engineer to join the team on a 12-month fixed term basis. You will be responsible the design, development, implementation, and ongoing support of enterprise integrations across the College. 

Operating within an IT Service Management (ITSM) framework, aligned to ITIL 4 principles, you will bring strong technical, analytical, and customer service skills to support the effective delivery of integration services. Whilst delivering new integrations and enhancements using the Boomi Integration Platform.

About the Role

• Develop, maintain and support system integrations using Boomi and related technologies
• Monitor integration processes, respond to incidents by troubleshooting and resolving issues to minimise disruption to the College
• Design and implement integration improvements to enhance reliability, performance and maintainability
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, support procedures and operational knowledge for integration services
• Work collaboratively with business stakeholders, vendors and internal IT teams to gather accurate requirements and deliver integration solutions 

About You
To succeed in this role you must have:

• Demonstrated experience (3+ years) in Boomi Development, including implementing full integration projects involving on-premise and cloud applications (Boomi certification will be highly regarded).
• Experience working with and manipulating XML/JSON.
• Experience in (SOAP & REST) web services and API management
• Previous experience working in an ITSM environment (Incident, Change & Problem Management) is essential.
• Knowledge of ITIL Change Management/Enablement process
• Working knowledge of SQL and database-related Boomi process development
• Demonstrated problem solving skills, including an ability to simplify complex problems
• Excellent communication skills, including written, listening and presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to review existing processes and provide actionable and effective feedback
