We currently have a vacancy for a Marketing Counsellor to join the team on a fulltime ongoing contract.  Reporting to the Team Leader, Enrolment, the Counsellor is responsible for responding to all enquiries received from general marketing activities, agents, prospective students and parents with the aim of enrolling them to UTS College Sri Lanka pathway programs. The incumbent is required to provide high quality advice, aligned to company policy and regulations relating to courses, application processes, studying abroad options and requirements for admittance.

The nature of the position will require some work being conducted outside of regular working hours including weekends. Some travel may be required.

About the role

This position will hold a range of responsibilities, including:

• Acting as the primary point of contact for general enquiries through a variety of sources including Facebook, email, phone and agents.
• Counselling students (and parents) as to the course that will best suit their goals and abilities.
• Analysing the needs of potential student leads, following through, answering questions and referring to others as needed.
• Conversion of leads to enrolment to meet UTS College targets.
• Assisting with recruitment and promotional activities with agents and schools, including exhibitions and student seminars.
• Regularly updating the lead management system and keeping a track of all leads
• Supporting the Head of Sales and Marketing to gather, analyse and report market insights including competitor offerings.

About you

To be successful in this role you will need to have the following:

• Minimum 1 years’ experience in a Marketing Counselling role
• Excellent communication and customer service skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with potential students, agents, colleagues and other stakeholders.
• Excellent English and Sinhala or Tamil skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Competent in Microsoft Office and ability to maintain high quality records
• Diploma/degree or professional qualification from a recognised institution is desirable
