We’re looking for a passionate and detail-oriented People Coordinator to join our People team! Reporting to the Executive Director, People, this role plays a key part in shaping an exceptional employee experience for our College community. You'll be a key point of contact for People-related support, handling a variety of administrative tasks with efficiency and care.
About the Role
As the People Coordinator, you'll be the go-to person for first-level support, keeping our systems and processes running smoothly, managing people reporting, and lending a hand with recruitment. Think of yourself as the glue that helps bring everything together—keeping things organised, efficient, and people-focused!
People support – Serving as the first point of contact for employees with people-related queries via our People Inbox and through our People Partners.
Administration – Generating people-related templates, letters, and contracts, while managing shared information on the College intranet.
Systems and processes – Reviewing and refining People processes, bringing a fresh perspective to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Compliance monitoring – Ensuring all incoming and current staff maintain compliance with work-related checks, training, and compliance, for example, Visa Checks, and Working With Children Checks (WWCC) or Health and Safety regulatory training
Communication and reporting – Developing and running reports on training completion, recruitment, work health and safety, recognition, and other key areas as needed.
Recruitment and orientation support – Assisting with hiring processes and helping new employees feel welcome from day one.
Human Resources Information System (HRIS) administration – Becoming the System Administrator and expert, updating processes and protocols to ensure a cohesive and consistent approach to system and process improvements.
People Projects – Contributing to team success by supporting the delivery of our People priorities for 2025 and beyond.
About You
To succeed in this role you will have:
Gained valuable administrative experience and understanding of what it takes to work in a role where you need to wear multiple hats
Consider yourself to be an inquisitive curious individual, eager to learn and roll up your sleeves to get the job done
You thrive in the detail, have an eye for accuracy, and enjoy keeping things organised
Keen to grow in the People & Culture space – HR experience is a plus, but a passion for learning and growing in this field is what truly matters!
You enjoy meeting new people, building relationships, and making others feel supported, heard, and valued.
