UTS College is a leader in pathway education. We were one of the first pathway colleges in Australia and have supported thousands of students – both international and domestic – to achieve their dreams and aspirations.

In an exciting development, UTS College has become the first Australian tertiary institution to offer the Cambridge International AS and A Levels program. This program is designed specifically for students aged 16 to 19, combining globally recognised Cambridge International qualifications with a comprehensive university experience that ensures students are well-prepared for the academic and personal challenges of university life.

We are looking for 2 Cambridge Curriculum Writers to join the program on fixed-term contracts until January 2027, developing the second-year content for our new Cambridge cohort.

  • Cluster 1: A-Level Cambridge Economics and A-Level Cambridge Accounting
  • Cluster 2: A-Level Cambridge Physics and A-Level Cambridge Maths

 

About you
We’re looking for someone who has:

  •  A bachelor’s degree in the discipline (post-graduate qualifications will be highly regarded)
  • A Graduate Certificate in Student Centred Learning (or willingness to complete in the first 12 months)
  • Experience teaching and/or curriculum development for Cambridge International AS/A Levels, or similar high-stakes programs
  • Experience working with under-18 students, and an understanding of their learning needs
  • The ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment
  • An empathetic approach to challenging situations, aiming for constructive and positive outcomes
